The colourful male

I readily fall for any show hosted by Sir David Attenborough, the famous British naturalist. What I like best about his shows is his inimitable style of talking and explaining things, and the way in which creatures don't seem to sense any peril when he approaches them. In one of his documentaries on the birds of paradise, he was accounting for why the male amongst the birds of paradise have such magnificently coloured plumage. Apparently as these birds are found in habitats where there are few predators and plenty of easy food for the picking, the male can indulge in the far more satisfying activity of trying to attract a suitable mate. Evolution has thus blessed them with resplendent coats, neat dance moves, and an aesthetic sense in decorating up their homes that any man would love to possess.

thatz an interesting shot!!!

Sidd, I am tagging you!

I watch every prgramme hosted by Sir David Attenborough.
