My first panaroma

I think the panorama maker did a decent job (sadly this can't be viewed in a very large size here)! This is part of the Jaipur skyline formed by taking four photos. From L to R: The hospice of the SDM hospital, a famous fort (owned I think by the Maharani Gayatri devi), the red and white buildings of the Jaipur Development Authority, the familiar Birla mandir, more JDA, houses in Bapu nagar. The Aravalis form a nice backdrop. Towards the right you can see its quarried faces.

PS: A larger verison is visible here on Flickr.

Wild beauty

This is my entry to the Flowers theme of the weekly Bangalore shutter bugs contest. I wanted to post something pretty but also different from the more commonly seen disc shaped flowers, and hence choose this one.

Flight into the twilight

I submitted this snap as an entry to the Light theme of the weekly Bangalore shutter bugs contest. What I submitted there was this brighter, less contrasted version though. A few people on that site dropped in a note suggesting that I darken and increase the contrast of the image, and I end up with this current image, which I like better.
